Man been almost 1 year since I updated this. I ran the numbers in my sig last August. Converter is too tight on motor but i havent really got to spray on it yet. That was with 546rwhp through an unlocked powerglide.

Finger slipped off the trans brake but here is a pass. You can here the verter is way too tight on motor.

I have the motor back apart. Heads are at Total Engine Airflow getting powdered metal guides and turned down LS3 valves. At the track it was floating the valves at 6800 rpm and 100 feet before the stripe.

In addition to that:
Making a valve spring change
Putting a 1.8 yells terra rocker on it from the stock 1.7 with trunnion upgrade
Swapping push rods
Having the Super Vic ported
Adding a 4 vane moroso vacuum pump

Hoping this helps the valve train issue. Cam should pull to 7500ish.

I never did switch headers as no 2" that I have tried fits. I am thinking about ordering another set when I put it together and see if those work.

I am really hoping to go 9.9x this year on motor. I will probably need to make a gear change to really start leaning on the bottle.

Quick update. Went back to the Dynojet that I had used for years. Previously made 546rwhp on a dyno dynamics.

This time I made:
516rwhp on motor
615rwhp with a 57n/35f jet set up
687rwhp with a 70n/42f jet set up

Dyno graph here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...stage-n20.html

Changes made:
Replaced valve seals
Turned down LS3 valves
2" headers
Replaced stock wires with Granatelli's wires
Vacuum pump
Electric water pump
Ported the Super Vic

Given they are two completely dyno's, it is still disappointing to see a loss in power. Driving it though makes me think it is just dyno variance as there is zero traction in low gear even from a roll and rolling in to the throttle.

The one good thing though is it does not fall on it's face at 6,800 like it did before.
