It’s like 15’ of 4 different wire colors. I love wiring on old trucks hahaha.

Forgot pics of the radiator and ac condenser. Condenser isn’t going back in. Radiator is going to get pressure washed and put back in. Never had an issue with cooling on this truck and figure this will just make the system better.

So I’ve added 3 gallons of coolant to this truck over the last year and a half I’ve owned it. It’s never leaked a dropped and the oil always drains out looking nice. When it died and back fired on me and I got it started, it released a cloud of smoke that was whiteish in color. I’m beginning to wonder if I have a cracked head or blown head gasket.

That's the rear most coolant port so it's not a huge deal it's plugged (intake blocks it off anyways) but that's some crap in there for sure. The rest of the ports look fine. The coolant was dark green when I pulled it out and kind of murky looking. I'm going to clean it up and pull the plugs this evening and see what those look like. I wouldn't be surprised if the engine is hurt given this trucks previous history. Cylinders are bored 60 over so there isn't much wall left on those and I don't know what machine work went into the heads if any. Given the blow by I have on the freeway, the mysteriously vanishing coolant, the crap in the coolant, it's not looking good.

383. I’m contemplating just yanking this engine and saying **** it and take the truck off the road until the new engine is done.
