Duh, I just read your thread. LOL!

Oh Yeah! I'm putting the inner's back in with the splash guards. Without them I'll have a nasty engine bay really quick. I live in country and the roads and be FUN!!

Lookin good! Gives me some motivation to get out and work on mine. I decided to go Dana 60 out back so the whole project got really delayed. Just got my wheels and tires, gonna measure for the narrowed rearend, then build the backhalf, then get on with the rest of the build lol.

Can't wait to see vids.

Yeah Greg I have a little left to do. Wire the harness in. Other things have been holding me up on the wiring. It takes a full day, and no distractions when wires are in your face!

I did buy some Cragar Drag Lites
1988 Blazer 5.3 Swap-s10.jpg
Did the lowering, like the stance.1988 Blazer 5.3 Swap-drop.jpg

Got the 8.8 installed w/ Trick Flow cover.

Buttoned up the Fuel system and Installed the Fittings.1988 Blazer 5.3 Swap-fuel-line.jpg

Had my drive shaft built. Did a nice job!

The cam is done and the engine is back together. Hope I got it right!!

I bought a rear mount Battery kit. Junk Box, the cable is 2Ga. But for $65 Bucks I cant Gripe. The Cable is worth that.
Gonna Buy a Sealed Batt box to keep the Track Officals happy.

Been thinking about doing a cage for awhile, for the Future.
Bought Some cage Tube. Scored it from my old employer (11 years since I worked there) Got 60ft. .134 wall 1 3/4 for $135 bones. Guess my employee discount is still good! Buddy of mine got tube bending and knotch tools, he is into sand rails, has one with a hot little Caddy Short -Star. So Freddy and I shouldn't have a problem with the 10 point cage!

With this weekend having 2days off. I might get the Wiring done. And the seats and Carpet installed. 1988 Blazer 5.3 Swap-rci-seats.jpg

I have all the parts laying there. But been to busy at our Meat market.

I like the wheels!

good to hear your getting close, man I wish I knew more about trannies, I plan on building one for my next truck. it sure dose save a ton to do it yourself.

as far as being busy I know how you feel, though I'm not complaining considering how many people are out of work right now.

good luck on getting her on the road, have you been able to start her yet? if you can I would recommend it, it gives you tons of motivation to finish the rest.

Thanks Greg. Should be getting the wiring buttoned up this week. And try starting it this sunday. ( My only full day off) Can't wait!

Bought a new Heater Core and Grant Steering wheel.
Got the Fuse box mounted and wires roughed in. Getting close man.

Also painted the Tan dash with some Bull Dog Primer sealer and Dupli-Color Gray. Now I have to paint the rest of the Plastics. Should look good with the Black Carpet.
