Fuddle built it right?

Thats my next adventure man. 60e or either 80e rebuild.

Really enjoyed myself on the last transmission. My Pop made a comment that "Maybe I should have been a Mechanic" Missed a calling or something. But heck, Rather wash Blood, and Dig Grease out my finger nails.

Buy a DVD on that tranny, and get a rebuild book from a Jobber house.

Help yeah as much as I can over the phone. Zona is a far drive.

Mia driving yet??

Have you called Jesse at Wait4meperformance.com

he flashed and tuned my ecm. Since I haven't ran it yet. I cant speak for his work. But GlockBob hooked me up with them. It's was like $90 bones. And Free updates for life. Plus a tuner Shop that has EFI Live can still tune it. Its no locked either.

Yeah I saw your Vid. Nice man!

Got some more things done.

Dash installed. And mounted the Monster tach.

Got them inner fenders back in. Fresh paint and undercoating.

Heater Core hooked up. I just got the A/c delete box today. Later on after I pay myself back on this build a little. I'll get a Vintage Air A/C system or something like it. Not worried about A/C right this moment!

Like to have a full weekend with nothing else to do, just to wire the sucker.

Hey Greg.. You wouldn't have a LS Engine wire diagram? I'm sure I wont need it, but It would be nice to have another diagram. Did Current give you one? If it would be cool, I'd like to have a copy bud.

Thought I'd ask about the Diagram.

I got the Column wired. And started the Back half wiring.

Just holding off on the engine bay till this week. Too hot to do much more!

I spend sunday building the Radiator mount. I should have bought a Cross Flow radiator when I bought the BeCool unit. Sure would have made getting the hoses easier. But I didn't know from the Start that I was going with a LSX engine.

But its Finished. My Hobart Mig worked great.

Bought all the metal and had some rubber for the mounts. Think I have $35 in the whole thing.

Holds the Radiator nice. The fan shroud bolted on good. The twin 10" Procomp fans should cool it fine.

I would like to wire the Engine in the next few day.

It just dawned on me that I forgot to tell the Tuner to add Fan Control to the ECM. Crap! I have to send it back, or just run a Manual Switch for now.

I would hate to have to send it back in, just to have something else later I forgot to have tuned. Raither do it all at once. Thought my List was all together when I sent it! LOL!

It looks good on my little phone.

I would just run a switch too, get em programmed eventually but a switch is a cheap but safe fix.

Powered up the harness last night. Didn't fire , I had no gas!

1988 Blazer 5.3 Swap-light-up.jpg
Think its ready, my only thing is the fuel pump.

Greg, with the wires coming from the tank.
I see the (Pink "Gauge sender" wire) and (Tan "Power" wire) I have a Current Performance Relay box, and the wire diagram said there is the (Gray Power wire) and (Green Pump request Prime). Do I wire both Gray and Green to the Tan power wire?? Hope I'm not explaining things wrong.

Last On your harness, was there a Oil Pressure Sender plug? I think I screwed up on the harness and took that out. That works with the fuel pump Safety switch, right? Protects the engine from " No oil Pressure at start up?"

Finding out that I might have been over my head with this harness business. I Check and double checked my work. Heard the Injectors cycle and the pump prime. Just covering my ***!

Any help be great.

Justin
