Nice Job. I have one just like that but an 89 4x4 with a 350. Might be getting rid of it later if you need parts.
All i really lack to have it running again is the starter, some fluid in the xfer case, possibly TV cable and set the timing.

that would be great! Hows your build going?

I did have problems with the 5.3 oil pan, I bought a new pan off the s10v8 site. Head and coil pack clearance, I had to swap out the vac- booster for a hydro boots off a '01 astro van. Shouldn't have braking problems! Plus I got the much needed room. Engine mounts were off the shelf, headers too.

Besides that, the only problem I have now is MONEY!! Ha!

Im self employed as well, with one day off a week!

This build hasn't hurt me too much. As of now, Im at $2,100! But its climbing!

BTW Lsx10!
Thanks for the heads up on the truck to ls6 intake swap! Worked great! Besides the high dollar 2007 Silverado water pump! Ouch! That was high, even with my uncles dealer discount! $200! But its worth it! Please let me know about that intake! And have you remembered what Throttle body W/ the smaller linkage is off of?

Thank you,

Justin

Smile Thanks Lsx 10!

This really help me out! I wanted to us the LS6 intake.
I was afraid I'd have to buy the F-body front drive.
