1994 chevy to LSx swap

looking good!!! it will be a blast to drive im sure. plus with that new drivetrain shoot you got nothing to worry bout for years to come!!
i see you are goin all out on your build with e fans cam headers and what not..
i have a 97 rcsb stepside that im thinkin bout swaping a 5.3 into just concerned on the money issue.. my question to you since your doin this swap, if i find a gen III motor with tranny, harness pcm the whole package how much more $$ ballpark you think it would take to run? no performance just make it work lol. i know there are allot of variables that can knock your budget way out the hole but just curious..
i like my lil 1997 i feel real comfortable driving it more than my cc sometimes, but i hate that is a 4.3 lol heres a lil pic of it.

say you get a complete pull out (air box/harness/complete motor and tranny) 1600
Fuel pump (the one i went with 200)
fuel lines to make it work (70-120 easy)
tune:whoever you get to tune it
swap to a 5.7 radiator not a 99+ system its a PAIN IN THE AZZ
450 for the current harness to be reworked by Nelson Performance(which i feel is A+ work)
i say 2500-3000 keeping it simple.
i have 7k in my truck easily and yes it will be a WORK TRUCK.

water is added, ac bracket is mounted correctly, belt installed (hadda buy 3 to get it right lol) had a hell of a time finding power steering bracket bolts (i just used a 10x1.5mm 4.5" long worked great) tightened up my power steering lines, i think imma have to change the pressure side, it's gonna leak i think. i bought a new battery this a.m because my old one only had 10.2v after 3.5hrs of charging it.
im done until Truckshop comes to tune in the morning. hopefully everything works out fine and im able to drive it around a lil bit.
