i would dream of 8's custom but with this 4,000# truck im not wanting to push it that hard..... My ultimate goal will be a 9.99 and ill leave the 8's to the Chevstang that im gonna build for my wife in the near future (She thinks its hers) lol

I think 8s might be out of the question but deffinatly 9s and I would guess much more solid then 9.99! Only time will confirm.

Well got the new turbo on and went to make a few pulls on the street after heat cycling the turbo to break it in and noticed when i got home that oil was sitting on the inlet of the turbo.... Not good! So i called the rebuilder and sent it back to get it fixed under warranty, i will say with the 1.32 ar exhaust housing the thing took some rpms to get it boosted up but when it come in around 5000 rpms its a animal for sure.. I sent it back and im trading the guy out my exhaust housing for a 1.0 ar to help with a little quicker spool and hopefully ill get a non leaking turbo back!! Also made a couple extra changes to my wastegate positioning so i wont get the dreaded boost creep ive been dealing with, should have it up and going again next week if my turbo gets done, i just have to finish running my 5" exhaust with my new magnaflow diesel muffler :]

I bet the air flow of that 1.32 would make for some wicked power at the hi rpm but with such a slow spool it might hurt the low end more then its worth, unless you had a tbrake and 2step.

Ok wow, so that housing does lag that bad... I was just wondering if it took that long to reach max boost with that housing or if it just had that much lag to it. That 1.0ar housing is probably going to hit you like a freight train haha.
