Damn! I always new that old pt88 was holding me back! I know my GT76 gets all over it, the budget Garretts ruel. How is the spool up on the 91 vs pt88?

Stock48 the 91 is a large frame and that 88 was a medium frame i belive?!?! lol but to compare the two.... On the 88 i could start seeing boost around 3500 in first gear... with this 91 i short shift to second and boost is instant, but other than that you have to wind it out in first to get it to spool up... Ive been working with this AMS1000 for boosting on the line and seems to be doing great so far, will just take time to dial it in! Over all i really like the GT91! Im gonna build a tubular setup in the near future and i should see some benifits outta this too!

But its something to look into if you are going to start bracket racing. It would suck to red light because of the rock.
the band is not all of the issue. if you keep tightening the band, you will wear clutches and can possibly break a stock case.
the reverse circuit, low pump pressure or too much converter bleed off can cause these issues as well.

some people may call it a bandaid, but all racers i know hook a line lock to the brake. guaranteed it will never move and make more consistant lights.

Hey Man!! I think there's something wrong with your sprag!!! LOL

Transmission problems always suck, but when you've got a built trans like yours and you see things like this, it almost puts a smile on your face... Cuz you know you can't damage something like that without making some seriously big power!! LOL

Yes this actually makes me feel good! The fact that i just rebuilt it and put it back in the truck together in 1 day by myself makes me feel even better cause it was the first time ive ever rebuilt one, i replaced 2nd and 3rd gear clutch packs also even though they werent bad at all.... First test drive is in the morning and i know it goes in all gears so far!!! Wish me luck haha.

Well i decided to get some real tires... Countless trips to the track with drag radials gave me a 50/50 chance of hooking, if the track was not soaking wet with vht they wouldnt do anything so we will see if these will do the trick
