Thanks man. Its been fun to put together. I drive it every day and that was my plan. I wanted something reliable that I could just get in and go, and still be fast. Also something that looks decent, but im not worried about it getting scratched or whatever. Ill paint it eventually, but im not going to go too crazy with it.

And hell im getting better gas mileage than my Tahoe with a 6.0 swap that I daileyed for the last 4 years.

Repainted the GMC emblem finally. It matches nicely with the polished wheels

Idle Video. The intake is so loud. Its 4" PVC with the stock airbox cut open on the sides and bottom. Sorry about the angle, idk whats up there

Little Accel video. spins into 3rd if I dont let off a bit. Still havent messed around with a 4x4 launch.

I have plans like this for my rcsb stepside I already bought the djm kit minus the keys and uppers. Now that I have looked at yours I think I need more parts.

Now that you have driven it a bit are you still happy with the ride? I have a lowered rcsb S10 that is just stiff as hell to ride in and was hoping the bigger truck with stock rate springs would be a little better ride.

Thanks for documenting this build.

I am planning on an ATK 6.0 so won't have quite the power yours has. Should be a fun ride though.

If you have time would like to know what injectors/rails you went with.

Thanks again!

Haaaa !!! I had them in my '02 back when I owned it. I loved them !

I bought mine from a vendor on eBay.. IIRC, they are stock GM gauges out of an Escalade...

If you buy them from the right place they'll even match your ODO for you so you don't have to do the disclosure.

Hey any reviews on the djm lower control arms? I looked at their site, and they look kinda flimsy where the torsion bars attach. I saw a post on another site where someone said theirs cracked? Yours have been on for over a year, have you had good luck?

I ended up going with the lowers/uppers/keys...it aligned well and I haven't had any issues in the last few months. I will keep an eye on them though.

I will say the rear notch looked cheesy. The ubolts were crap. The shocks fit like crap. I ended up buying a bell tech notch and bought HD ubolts locally so far so good.

Bad *** ride. What did you use to paint it with? Looks good for what it is. Got any pics of your CV angles after you lowered it?
