ok so lil update. i thought i bought a 4.8 ended up being a 5.3
but i came across an aluminum block 5.3 so probably end up using it instead and got my gt45 turbo for it. now i just need ls6 cam and springs
For the people that know about LS motors. what casting numbers are good heads to run and which ones should i avoid?

I asked that same question before.
Apparently the nvms main downfall is that they don't like to be shifted fast and hard. There's lots of guys out there running power through them trouble free, but don't be Paul Walker and bent the fork. If your looking for a true performance trains, TR6060 is the way to go
