The 243/799 heads already lower compression on the 4.8 and 5.3's due to larger combustion chambers. The 317's would lower compression even further due to even larger combustion chambers which would undoubtedly make a 4.8 or 5.3 a turd out of boost. I believe I did see one of the members on here run 317's on his turbo 5.3 but not sure if they are milled any or if they are stock.
