Default 2004 RCSB Silverado - 'Trouble'

I bought this truck with some brake trouble and about 75,000 miles. Fixed the brakes and got a great deal! Any way, shes a 2004 RCSB Pewter 4.8 auto. I am in love with it. It has a K&N CAI, a flow master, and some kind of chrome Veloche brand 20's. Other than that shes stock. I plan to put about a 75 shot on it and other bolt ons till its time to do a full build. Wheels are for trade also! All I have done so far is paint the bowtie a billet color, restore the headlights, slap on the licence plate from my car, and give it a good bath. Pic time!

By the way, wheels are for trade. They aren't my favorite. I would love some factory GM 20's. I don't know exactly what the plans are for this truck yet, seeing as money is a little tight right now since i'm in school. I would like spray, maybe a procharger, maybe a 6.0 swap. Lots of decisions to make. Lots of parts to buy. One thing is for sure, I absolutely love this truck.

Sprayed on some Grand Sport stripes with plastic dip, and then put on some drop shackles to level it out.

No reason to take out the 4.8L if you are talking about boosting it. The 4.8L engines love boost and hold up very well.. Hotrod magazine made 1200RWHP on a stock 4.8L block with two 76mm turbos. All they did was use ARP Studs and increased the gap of the stock top rings a tad. Stock GM LS Engine - Big Bang Theory - Hot Rod Magazine

I would put a turbo kit from trick or kb racing, tvs 1900 or mp112, or procharger on the 4.8L. Get the proper torque converter, built trans, Truetrac, fuel system and good tune and you are set..
