Had to go into work late today, had recert test for my inspectors license, so i stayed late to finish the car i was working on and got to talking to my foreman and we got to talking aboutmt trans and i had to have him see if i was missing something as i was having issues getting the 3-5-r piston to seat in the drum, of course he walks over touches it and it drops in... story of my life!!! Long story short finished up 3-5-r drum, pump, and tore valve body/tcm assembly down, which was a relief!! All i am waiting on now is the other two sealing rings, a filter and a converter(anyone wanna donate the stock one they took out for a stall, lol!)
1-2-3-4/3-5-R drum full of clutches, replaced 2 of the 3-5-r steels and 1 of the 1-2-3-4 steels... Rest looked really good....
Pump centered and torqued....
Air checked 1-2-3-4/3-5-r clutches
1-2-3-4/3-5-r drum isntalled until friday when i have the rings (which if you look close enough arent there!!!!)
Torque converterhousing /pump assembly in place temporary like....
Tcm removed.....
No busted membranes, all the resistors look good, womt be able to test it until either i have another vehicle i can program it to to test it or get everything together with my truck, going to do some research and see if theres a resisitance test i can do in mean time....
And my favorite valve body to work on, and no stuck valves, denating on whether i want to use the later model upper i have that actually had a sticking valve.... Probably stay with what ive got....

Looked at my valve body and sighed a few times today.... Lol!! Really wish i had my parts!! Although it was one of those days and 101* on the thermometer when i left work at 5:30 and 98* when i left the second job at 8:30...didnt help matter any, especially when you factored in the humidity!!! It was f'n hot!!! Ready for november/december!!!

It was 101 and something like 50% humidity, which normally in this swamp isnt bad, but when its that hot its like hitting a wall face first.... Last year we were dealing with 95+ with 70-85% hunidity all damn summer!!! Supposed to be upper 90s again tomorrow with possible thundrstorms which will make the humidity ridiculous.....
