Push through, and dream of winter... Sad part is hunidity affects cold same as heat.... At home it will be 35 with 50-60% humidity, and be quite chilly, ill drive to my mothers house where it will be 20 with 10% humidity abd it feels warner at her house....

Ordered a shifter cable bracket and shift lever for the 6l80 today, going to pick up the filter monday.... Sadly i will have a lot less in this trans swap than i do in the 4l60 i built for my 99, including the cooler lines, shift lever, etc... the turbine shaft seals and vb separator plate set me back less than $20.... Not sure i have hit $800 in this yet!! Still better than buying one!!!

Got valve body back together, pan on and filter in.... Some dummy forgot to take any pics, what i get for rushing..... also half *** bolted the brackets on today.... All $7 worth of shift lever and cable bracket.... Now to get engine together, and get ahold of a set of trans cooler lines, tcase input shaft, a trans cooler, torque converter and a somewhat long weekend to get it all in and go through tcase and front differential(since im going to drop it for clearance anyway)! At some point i will probably upgrade the g80 in the rear end, but for now at least im going to cross my fingers, toes and anything else that it doesnt break....figure i should be alright with 3.73s that are in it at least for a while..... Need a break from big projects for a while... Rather spend time driving and tuning them than replacing parts at this point.... And start saving for bigger better things!!!

Added up all the receipts for the trans today... $987 before converter, cooler lines , shifter cable and tcase input shaft.... Figure i will probably have something around $13-1400 in the trans when its all said and done....
