I have heard you can flash the BCM And use something like the Cardaq unit to change the Vin number so it matches the vehicle it's in. Like if you recycling a module and its the same module with the same calibration.

I don't have one and the people I have spoke with either don't know or don't want to give out too much info on the Forums.

I would Buy one but they have a new unit out now that is supposed to have add on capabilities. I wanted to see which way the industry was going to go first before I commit to one.

I have enough Discontinued scan tools and It's an expensive loss when they are discontinued.

Really need a way to be able to pick and choose what calibrations are in it, only thing i really need changed is the powertrain control calibration from i wanna say its 1258820 to 1258819 i tried tgui's denalis os and i lost my rear hatch and park assist... Everything else worked aside from theftlocking my xm radio... I ended up going back to my vins programs, so at the moment, its looking like spend 300 to have whites audio do what i need or keep looking for another vin that woudl still allow everything to work and either buy a new xm or get my drr unlocked...

Think i may have found a way to get my shifter to work found another yukon with all the same options as mine.... But with a 6l80... Fingers crossed, have to check it out tomorrow!! $35 to have my xm receiver unlocked is a lot better than 300 to have the bcm calibration changed if it will work!! And an hour over programming and comparing calibrations sounds better than a week or so without a bcm!!!

Nice!

What's this other place you mentioned? Can they customize the calibration?

Which other place? Found whites auto and media service who says they can basically turn on the tu/td in the bcm for $300 but im sending them the calibration numbers with thr bcm if i end up going that route, which id just as soon figure out how to do it myself!! And then i found global something that advertises resetting xm modules for 34.99+ return shipping.. That to me is the more reasonably priced logical approach!!!

They said they can... But if its anything like what the local guy wanted to just disable the dod in my yukon... You said the cardaq unit or whatever it is you can go in and just change the vin or did i misinterpret that?

Supposedly there is a tool box option in the software that allows you to go in and change a vin number.

Again I don't have it and I have not seen it in person. Just what's been explained to me.
