So.... I have a couple very long nights/weekends ahead of me..... Got a set of dual valve springs to go into the silverado in preparation for the cam, also got majority of yukon parts tracked down.... Mostly through the two jobs for less than what i can get aftermarket stuff shipped through anywhere online.... I will have chain dampener and majority of little stuff tomorrow. And my air tube should be here tomorrow as well...
Do have a question though... I get the 11mm head bolts being replaced, torqued to yield, no isssues... The other 5 bolts however... Ten total across the top of the heads that are torqued to 22 ft lbs... Not torque to yield so why do those need to be replaced couldnt you just put some thread sealer or loctite on them and reuse them??? Maybe im just being cheap...

They usually come in a head bolt kit anyway.
They probally could be reused, but depending on how they are spec'd 22 may be just enough to stretch them. Put some loctite on them and give it a shot.
All factory head bolts had a loctite type product on them.
I have used the bolts for other things and so far I haven't had an issue. but not torqued or on an application that mattered.
