it has plenty of room for AC condenser and all behind it... only thing you will have to do is mount the trans cooler .. i am putting a rather large trans cooler with its own fan in my truck so i was not worried about it yet... i will make it fir once the time comes to start on it...

i might ADD a strip of metal from the top bolts to the bottom bolts on the IC to help support the hood more...

Ant the top of it...

Just FYI I'm not planning on running the A/C heat exchanger although I believe it would fit...

What is the size of the IC?
So, you cut the hood latch support and welded it to the IC?

I like the way you welded the elbows to the inlet/outlet but it might get difficult to hook couplers to it at the sides of the radiator.

Can this setup be done for DD keeping the A/C and trans coolers in place on a 2003 Silverado. Space seem plenty on my 03 Chevy Silverado truck.

Seems like both mine and spoolin's IC setups will allow you to run all factory stuff still!!!

I didn't build this kit, it was built for CurtD by a former employee of his, but yes, he cut the aluminum A-Frame that supports the hood latch as well as the A/C heat exchanger and welded it to the aluminum I/C. I don't have the size of it off hand. Sorry

Actually it's pretty plug and play. The silicone couplers are reducers and they do the job quite easily.

Here's the charge pipe that connects to the I/C outlet, you can see the coupler on the end of it...

And here's the piece of pipe that runs between the turbo outlet and the I/C inlet (very bottom of picture), again you can see the coupler, all you need to do is slip it on and tighten down on the hose clamps...

2003 is a different configuration from the 99-02 from what I understand or at least the grill affords more room so I can't answer that question. But with enough ingenuity, anything is possible.

Actually the 2003 Chevy Silverado has more space between the grill and radiator compared to GMC truck and earlier models.

It should fir. If not, the trans cooler can be relocated or replaced with different type with it's on cooler fan if it's not facing air.

Well... I havent done mutch but....
Replaced the 24x11x3 intercooler with a 31x12x4
Ordered a Magnafuel 4303 and an Aeromotive FPR
Got my 9" narrowed and my strange 31 spline axles
Bought a stepside bed (think it will look sweet with my 390/45-15 drag radials)
I hope to have more progress pics this weekend
