The springs should have the dia.rate.length as the part number printed on them. Anything heavier than a 250# spring is going to fill stiff. I recently changed mine from 300# to 225# and it is still firm but much better. The 300# did not allow any weight transfer to the rear.
Also, I believe QA1 are twin-tube shocks so you may need to invert your coilovers for proper function.

i did just try loosening the shocks all the way and finally did get a little movement like i had expected.
but in doing all this tonight i noticed the coilovers dont have much travel left already.

on week 6 or 7 of waiting for my trans i ordered, hopefully engine assem goes good and i can throw both in next..

Still alive, getting closer, everything underneath is done… besides cooler lines and exhaust needs made. Need to figure out core support mounting stuff, then its just coolant plumbing and all wiring. Maybe some other detail stuff, but thats alot easier once its moveable and runs.

And if someone finds this thread in the future and wants to know what headers these are, they are speed engineering c10 swap headers. Pass side took very minimal beating to fit good, drivers side on the other hand sucked! They run down to hit the lower control arm mount boxing on the frame, then i fixed that and put them on only to find the #1 primary was in the way of #3 plug so much i couldnt even get it in and had to beat on it pretty good, which imo should never ever be an issue on headers, applications vary, plug clearance doesnt.
anyways theyre cheap stainless, but take some work to fit..

Bought some more wheels, cheap welds, not sure if i like them, but reason i got them is not sure i liked the black ones. Im picky about wheels to say the least..
got grille done, had the exhaust done, didnt turn out good, dont go to back woods “exhaust guys” and expect the best is what i learned. Ill buy a tig and redo it myself someday when i get bored it will do for now. Its true dual, xpipe, two magnaflows and corvette tips hidden just under the license plate.
