Any word on when the harness will arrive?

And did you scrap the idea of trying to use stock hard trans lines?

Called on the harness yesterday, most likely not this week still UGH.

I'm going to just buy stock GM trans cooler lines and use them to get me past the headers and engine, and then just adapt hose to them once they are in front of the engine.

montecarloss, if you need to get rid of the stainless works headers and jump to 2 inch headers, i could probably find a home for them.

LT1 Wiring

they seemed to be the most knowledgable in terms of swap info, so I figured they would be the guys to build it. Now that I've been sitting on my thumbs for two weeks I probably could have done it myself in less time... so be it.

the truck is literally just waiting on the harness to start and run at this point. I'm excited!

Ordered those stainlessworks 1 7/8 headers, and some lifters just now. Im contemplating an Ebay 102mm cable throttle body for the L92 truck intake I'm eventually going to run. Has anyone had a bad experience with Ebay T/B's?.

also, lets play the game of how much power will it make:

ported l92 truck intake, 102mm TB, Large .630/.630 ish lift cam, cnc ported Ls3's, 1 7/8 long tubes. should be a tad over 10:1 compression. I'm looking for 500 to the tire, hoping to do so without more cubes or more CR.

did you grab the stainless works s10 headers or the silvy ones?

those bitches are pricey... I'm jealous

One thing to consider... even with this motor making good power, which it will, it will be a pig off the line with a stock stall. Also the tall rear end gear and 4l80 first gear will exaggerate this.

I got the s10 swap ones, hoping they work well. Pricey but at least they have some resale value since they are stainless.

Rob already has me convinced on a 3600 stall Precision converter. I'll pull the trans, throw a shift kit and that in and hopefully be golden for all this truck will need.

And yeah, before I even touch the track this summer I need to have a good rear end. Chrysler 9.25's are supposed to be quite strong and came in 4.10 and 3.92 gears.

Not sure yet, I don't really have any idea how daily drivable a big cam LS 6.0 would be yet. So I've got some research to do still. I really want the truck to be able to handle my commute just fine, about 1hr of city and 1hr of highway ea h day.
