Got tired of the over axle dual 3" pipes railing the frame and limiting travel so, I hacked it off and ordered a bunch of stuff to go 4".
The combo now is long tubes V-banded to a set of Vibrant ultra quiets, then into a Gibson dual 3"inlet/single 4" outlet muffler, another V-band to a hacked up duramax tail pipe that goes over the axle and into a 08-10 Ram 2500 factory 4"resonator and then dumped discreetly just above the hitch. No more "hiflow" cats, no more Flo Pro, and most importantly no more saggy double dick looking, dirt collecting DuAl TiPs.
Much quieter than the giant flopro with cats, no more axle poundage, and the entire system is 100% tucked above the frame rails and out of sight!

It does neck down a hair maybe down to 3.75 but I don't think it makes much difference. This exhaust system is way too big for a basic 6.0 anyway. I have another set of bottle style resonator I might try to fit somewhere to tone it down just a little more but I think if I ever turbo it the sound will be perfect as is.

Not sure if the exhaust got louder after a few weeks or if my hearing got better but I started to notice a terrible low RPM drone from the 4" setup. SO I whipped up 2 different length J pipes and it's much better! Having a hard time getting 2 of the V bands to fully seal tho and I hate the minor leak sound.
Also still struggling through a strange startup lean condition with HPT, I was just going back to the very basics when suddenly my VCM editor didn't want to recognize the device at all. Got a support ticket in the works so hopefully, that gets ironed out soon.
Along with the lean idle, I'm having issues with the AC randomly not wanting to engage the compressor. I can see in HPT that the AC is being requested but the compressor will not engage, pressures are dead on what they should be and if I use special tools and functions in the VCM scanner I can manually engage the compressor and the AC works fantastic. I'm not sure if the truck is disabling the AC because it sees the lean idle or if something else is fucky. I have replaced both AC pressure sensors and the entire AC system is less than a year old.
Don't zoom in on the bubbalicious welds please, I was trying to fill the grand canyon of poor pipe fitting.
