Dang yall are tough, for a $400 welder and old leftover exhaust pipe I thought it was decent. I don't start welding classes for another week, if I suck by spring then you can roast me.

I've paid for people to do welds worse than this at least I'm only out some wire and gas. Nope, no leaks, except for one pesky V band on the driver side collector but I think I have a solution coming this week.

I got the 4" V band, one of the 3" V bands, and 2 slip fittings to not leak well, at least not enough to hear or feel by hand. Just one pesky 3" V band left, I ordered some 3"MLS 2 bolt flange gaskets I'm gonna cut the ears off and try to sandwich them in there.

I have considered doing dual frequency 1/4 wave resonators too. The first rendition cancelled the 1500-1800 (around town cruising rpm) but still droned horribly in the 2000-2300 (interstate cruising rpm) range so I shortened it to get the interstate cruising good and just keep it in 3rd bebopping around town.
