Default 6.0 swap in a 1987 crew cab dually

Ok I got a 87 dually on bags and the tbi 454 is tired a guy has a wrecked 2000 crew cab 1500 with a 6.0 he said if he keeps my motor and tranny he'll swap everything from the 2000 to my dually for $1000 sounds good but is it as simple as that? Or will he run into problems and want more money??? He has a complete truck so everything is there

Run away from that motor fast.......it's the odd iron headed 6.0 with the longer crank.

and he's getting a 454+$1000? that's crazy!

I think '00-'01 trucks had the iron heads. Get an '02 or newer 6.0 engine
