The cam I will be running is in the 4.8 right now. I'll bring the stock cam down there for good measure, though. The 6.0 with forged parts had ARP 2000 rod bolts. They came with the rods though.

Kinda messed up the wording lol both of the ls1 engines I did had a problem with the cam fitting the new cam bearings.

Just dropped off the block, they have an LS cam on standby for exactly that reason lol.

we ran into that one time..

So what engine or cam uses the smaller bearings?

Do you mean the narrow bearings? I don't think those come stock in anything, believe its aftermarket only.

Just going to run it stock for now, should be fast enough for me for a while. But if I did forge it, the parts recommendation would be scat rods and vautotec pistons

Got the short block back together... Took me a few days to do it, as I spent a lot of time making sure every piece was extremely clean before assembly. Not sure when I'll be dropping it in yet.
