Default 6 lug to 5 lug conversion

I am near complete on my 5 lug install. I have went from the factory 6 lug to a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. Moser provided all the machine work to make it happen as well as a new set of axles. Sorry I did not take any pics of the front before install but I will take pics as I do the rear tonight. Moser welded and drilled my front hubs, rotors, and the rear rotors. I will be installing the new axles later today but my rear rotors will not be in until the 19th of next week. I bought the front hubs and rotors from a member here on the board who had the work done from moser then I bought new rotors for the rear and had them sent to Moser. I have $300 in the front and about $480 in the rear all parts were brand new. Moser charges 80 per pair to weld and drill, I think this includes axles as well, if you do not want to have some built. New axles were only $295.

I will post up more pics later.

looks good I also went through Moser, however it too me quite a while to replicate my Wilwood aluminum hats for the swap on the front.

Why did moser call me today and say that they can't weld/redrill my front hubs to a 5 on 4-3/4 lug pattern? They said that there was no way to chuck the hub up in the lathe to remachine the back side of the hub flange flat after welding. What gives?

I want to do this soooo bad. choice for 6 lug wheels is limited to 'truck' applications which consist of 'rock crusher' type BS patterns.

I understand having the existing patterns welded up and re-drilled on not only the hubs and axles, but the rotors for both as well.

My question is the for the wheel fitment. If you go to all of the trouble of this work, AND having your rotors fabbed every time you do a brake job, will the wheels fit correctly?

I have a set of Foose Spank 6's and they are hub centric (the wheel rests on the raised part of the hub, not the studs/lugs). With the new wheel pattern (5 x 4.75) can you find the 5 lug hub centric wheels to fit the 6 lug hub diameter?

I'm not sure I would want to go through all the trouble to then have to have the hubs turned down to fit a smaller diameter.
