I was just asking because I keep seeing anyone pushing their cars hard at the track hurt the ls1's by starving the motor of oil. Great build regardless and I am super jealous.

Nice build. We are taking an old 66 race car and doing a pro touring style build for a customer right now. I want one of these cars bad! Not going to pay the huge asking price though....

gonna be a little while....play fund is on hold. Our new puppy is getting her right leg amputated in 2 weeks, and thats not cheap!! as far as motor, just a heads/cam ls1. Im going to do the samre combo I had in my 06 ecsb:

Stock ls1
PRC stg 2.5 5.3 heads
Tqr V2 cam

I ran a 12.67 with this combo in my truck, so this nova will flat out fly with it!!

did a little work on it today...ididit steering column is in, got the track rod measured and tig welded/installed, and started working on the stainless exhaust!

got thre passenger side tub out and cut. Rear wheel is on. glad i did it now, gonna look killer with some big rotors behind those wheels
