I'm not a Ford guy by ANY means, but this is one sweet build!! I can respect a creative mind though, keep doin what you're doin my good man

Thats ok I won't hold it against you.......lol To be honest I'm not much of a ford guy myself more Mopar than fords but I've always liked this body style of the ford trucks. But thats why I'm FoPAR... (little bit Ford but mostly MOPAR)...lol

With the passenger side stake bed holes filled I moved over to the driver side and got to work filling them in to. They went in nice and easy, then I ground them smooth. I never did finish grinding down all the welds on the driver side seam or where I welded the bed back together so I put the ear plugs back in and got to work.

So it's starting to look like one piece of sheet metal....

It's coming together! I've been following this one too, interesting build. Way back in the early 90's, I owned a 71 F250. It was a damn good old truck.

Do you have any plans for the motor, or just gonna run it stock?

I would love to swap the heads for a set of earlier ones and then do a cam and intake upgrade to it. but the reality of the budget for now is it's most likely going in stock. (The biggest power robber is $$$...lol) If I can free up some money then that will happen before I put the truck together for the last time, but if the truck is done and the money for engine upgrades isn't there then I will see how this low mileage stock 460 does..... not like I couldn't pull the truck apart again once I have the money... I think I have now put it together and pulled it back apart 10 times just for mock up, and I know that I'm going to have to do it a few more times before it all matches up right with this frame. Who's big idea was it to do a chassis swap anyway....oh yeah it was mine....

So I filled in all the welds and the bed seam with metal filler and then sanded it all down. Then more block sanding on the passenger side. Mixed up more body filler and filled in the lows and also hit the driver side with some filler too..... Then more block sanding.... and more block sanding....

So much fun I can hardly stand it.........

Never done body work but I could imagine. If I was closer and you had a case of beer I would be happy to lend a hand and learn some tips and tricks
