I like this pic, it looks like something that somebody would bring to me and ask for help.

This project is too cool. Now I wish I had a '69 GMC to put on the outside of my truck.

I kept referring that to the fun box when anyone saw it, but I did mark everything well when I tore down the 2000 silverado so it went back together almost without incidents.

Well here are some pictures of the progress, there are some more of course in my album http://s304.photobucket.com/albums/n...tity%20crisis/ It runs, has ice cold ac, sounds great, 4wheel disc brakes, all lights work( even added DRL into the turn signal housings) and is coming together well.

what all did you have to do to put the new dash in? and did take up any more space because space is an issues in sense its a single cab.

Well I put the whole firewall and floor from the silverado into my truck since my floor was horribly rusted. Im also running the complete 2000 wiring harness. The dash does stick out more than original but I dont think the steering wheel location is much different. I only had to cut about 3/4" from the front of the dash cover to clear the glass and make some abs trim peices to fill the sides where the a pillars were on the 2000. here is a few more pics as the truck does run and drive now and wow it sure runs alot better thasn before. I have my door panels clearanced btu have yet to finish them.
