I agree and man I bet it took a while to wrap those tubes! The only thing I find odd is Chrysler's decision to have reasonably short plug wires on the passenger side and then having to have such long one to reach over to the driver’s side, but from your earlier pictures it doesn't look as if there is much free space left after the intake is on.

Yes it took a couple hours to wrap both headers and I am still itchin as I just finished up one side today so I could get em both on. I am hopin since they are Borla SS headers, they shouldn't rot out anytime soon from the wrap. I know all this thing will do is blow the peg leg rear tire off, but once I get a tru-trac diff, cal-tracs and some stickies, it should throw down some decent times. The TQ is definately there to run 12's

I'm not sure on the weight of the Magnum V10, but I'd say about 150-200 lbs more then the V8. I got a little bit more done, but the damn household junk keeps robbin my piggy bank of fun money. I guess I should be thankful in these times to even have such a thing as play money though.

In the last pic you can see that I did the smog pump delete, should be good for some free hp.

Congrats on the ongoing project man!! You should clean up those old parts so they don't look so out of place with the new stuff!!

dont worry when progress goes slow, only worry when it stops.

yea it's a very mild cam, just goes to show how anemic the stocker is. This is just the first motor to get things all dialed in with the suspension and to make sure I like it. Next motor will be more serious with higher compression, forged pistons etc etc etc This 8.4-1 motor should really love the jug though

I still may clean and paint those brackets, just didn't want too much shiny stuff under the hood, didn't want anyone thinkin it was more then a stocker or I was tryin to polish a turd lol

I bet it will run a lot better than what some may give it credit and it really looks like a clean install, so yeah I say clean up the accessories as well. A blasting and clearing would go a long way's. Keep up the great work, I'm very interested in how it turns out.

I heard that your neighbors were complaining that they thought they heard a UPS truck running around with no exhaust, can you confirm this?
