8.0 into a 1/2 ton project

Thanks man, I have always liked vehicles that were basically stock, with mild mods that almost make you wonder if they are factory or not unless you know better. Your truck looks SICK! I actually did my wifes truck up like yours with all body colored bumpers, grille, mirror inserts etc

I'm sure a lot of gas stations would love that too, we could create a mini shortage in a good weekend of goofin off lol We'll have to see who gets their tune figgered out first, my moneys on you though with the GM.

9-10 mpg or so, but tune is very rich at idle and it has a constant every 5 seconds or so 100 rpm surge at constant crusie speeds. It only tach's 1900 rpm at 65 mph so I know the motor ain't even workin hard at all. Hell the 3/4 ton donor truck with 4.10's got around 13 mpg around town, so I know this 1/2 ton should get at least 15mpg on the hwy and personally I think it should get closer to 18-20 mpg driven easy. Thats the challenge and reward with a late model Dodge if it's been engine modified at all, great once you get the tune right but can be a MFr to get right IMO. I have faith in the guy doin the tunin, just short on time to play with the truck and money to put a few more mods on it to make tunin easier (wide band 02's and a couple other things).

He couldn't get it tuned and lives on a dirt road, so he traded it off for something he can use. The guy who ended up with it dyno tuned it and ended up with 350ish hp and well over 400lb/ft at the rear wheels. I think the truck ended up being a good bit lighter than he thought too.
