Been slowly workin on fitting in the steering colum, hydroboost brakes and a modified dash. I'll get some pictures up soon. I've been flipping back and forth on using the 4l80e or my original 700r4 as well as the 01 gauge cluster. I really like my autometer phantom gauges (mostly cause I paid a lot of money for all of them) and the 700r4 has a shitload of money in it and I have three different converters 2000, 2400 and a 3200 stall. So next thing is fuel system, does anybody know what to use for an inline pump and how to deal with the return system, forget about the corvette filter reg asm, I don't want an expensive fuel filter on it, nobody stocks that thing up here in the great white north!

 

so next thing is a vehicle speed sensor for the 700r4 to run to the ecm, and to run the cable speedo. Quick search on the net revealed many differnt units, two pulse, four pulse, wire dirrectly to the ecm, or using a buffer or drac module. can anybody clarify this?

 

been busy the last month. work, vacation in the caribbean, wife sick, change of jobs, house renos. I said this would be slow. anyways got the 01 steering colum mounted, gauges and master cyln/pedal assembly in. got a plan for the dash, going to glass a custom set up. It will keep with the 80's shape idea, just integrating the new gauge setup. Have all the stuff needed to convert 4wd to 2wd 4l80e trans so I'll be keeping that aswell as the 01 gauges.

 

had a customer of mine buy a drag car, did some plumbing on the intake for him helped with cooling. plus from the vacation, thats a big *** boat! we were on the 14th floor with an outside balcony, went through a topical storm like nothin!

 

dash is comin along. oh and my wife got me an aniversary present. kick *** viking helmet and welding jacket, best wife ever!
