86 GMC K2500 Hunting wagon.
Put my 2005 on hold. This project was started in 2003, quick history about the truck, we bought it, was restored by the former owner, we sold it, guy defaulted on the bank loan for it and the trailer we sold with it. We got it back at a small fee...blah blah blah...
First thing we did was a 4 inch spring lift high steering arm. I pulled the transmission and transfer case...and thats it...about a week ago i got started again.
I dont have any pictures of it before really, just 3 days after i started.

This is after the car wash, and taking out the harnesses and getting some work done on the interior.
Got the headlight clips changed out and the grille back on.
This is the doner truck, It is my 85 Silverado. The engine is a 468 big block with a 268 cam and some supporting mods. It will be getting a 87 FI motor and 700R4 and will just be an extra truck.

Here is a little of the suspension.
Also for reference the small tires on front where for transport on a car dolly, it also helped in pulling the motor.
Not a LSX engine swap, but a good project.

Got a little more done this last weekend.
Shortened the frame a little.
My Dad helped this weekend.
Done
Then got the harnesses and engine changed over.
Transmission is in as well.
Finished up the headlight harness the other day so its also in, next will be the t-case rebuild and then the interior, it just really needs cleaned and reinstalled.
I kinda figured a low low response to this thread since it doesn't involve a lsx

Got more done this past weekend.
Dash is in, had to pull the column down, someone did some work to it and not i have to fix it all
Dent free door,
Fully rebuilt T case. (208)
Got the matching front tires put on, still deciding on a tire size, but from the small ones pictures about it picked up alot of height.
Im going to see if we cant get this stock 06 duramax exhaust to work with a y pipe setup.
random front suspension picture.
More this weekend, i plan to get the interior finished and all the bells and whistle working again.
