89 RCSB Carb'd 6.0L swap
1989 RCSB Silverado 2wd. Got me an 04 LQ4 to swap in it and a TH350 trans. Currently the truck sits as a roller with a Detroit tru-trac and 4.10's in the rear. Goal is to run an 11.99 on spray and still be a fun very driveable street truck.
Only pics I have of the exterior right now...
To do list: (or to buy lol)
Vic. Jr. carb style intake manifold
MSD ignition system
Shoenfeld LT ls swap headers
Possibly a mild cam
3000-3200 stall
Wet n2o kit
So far I've ordered:
Vic Jr. Intake
MSD 6010 ignition
Proform 750dp carb
Shoenfeld headers
Built TH350
RevMax 9.5" 3000 stall n2o ready
Custom grind Comp XE-R 232/238 .595/.603 110 +4 cam
Comp 918 springs
Comp hardened pushrods 7.40"
MSD plug wires

Oh yeah lol, it will be a bit down the road though. I'd like a nice set of chrome 17's or 18's, but I'm still undecided on the paint, either all metallic silver, or gloss black with metallic black racing stripes, they'll kinda look like ghost stripes.

So this is what I found when I opened up my "CLEAN" 6.0. Apparently the salvage yard did A LOT of cleaning on the engine before I picked it up, cuz on the outside it did look clean.
Knock sensor...
Intake runners...
Cylinders...
Well the cylinders don't have any scratches or scores so I think it'll be fine. I'm considering putting some 243 heads on it if I can find some for a good price.

Well I ditched those dirty 317's and got me a set of 799 heads that have rough casting cleaned out of the runners. That should increase the flow a bit and bump my CR to about 10.4:1. I'm excited to see what this setup is gonna run!

This thing is gonna be awesome! Do you have any idea what it weighs? You'll hit your goal of 11's on spray no problem at all... Hell I bet you'll be closer than you think NA too.
