everything that i'm reading is saying:
explorer WMS to WMS 59.625
S10 7.5 WMS to WMS 54.50
putting the explorer 8.8 5.125" wider at the mounting surfaces than the current 2WD 7.6 that is in there.
also the 8.8 center section is roughly 3" off center. which would put your driveshaft sideways. can anyone prove otherwise?

exactly what i thought. if i'm looking at this right...you can cut the long side down to match the short side and use another factory short side axle shaft to center the pumpkin and shorten it up a little. this should shorten the wms to wms to 56.625 which is only 2.125 wider than the oem 7.6. a 15x10 with 6.6bs should tuck in there. that wheel would be REALLY tight but should fit with a 275/60-15 et drag radial.

just did some more digging. some people use the 8.8 uncut and leave the pumpkin off center and get a 15x10 with 7.5 offset. this looks like the cheapest easiest option. i like the look of a deep lip and that 7.5 offset would steal it all, but it's cheaper so what the hey!

stewart thats what i was just told a bit ago how he did his!, but the wheels he got hes having to greind the calipers
