My truck recently started breaking up under boost...I pulled a few plugs...looked good. Then ohmed all the stock wires most of them read 450, 3 of them were over 900. Changed them out and solved my problem. You have one of the coolest trucks on the site!!! Congrats on a job well done.

thanks man. My truck is pretty simple and rather plain, not flashy at all. that is the way i like it. It is a never ending work in progress... It will never be the fastest or show quality, but it gets me to work everyday and I will drive it anywhere without thinking about it.

That's going to look good. You have a spray gun and little booth at the house?

I do have a couple of HVLP spray guns but i did not use them on this. In high school i worked in a Auto body shop for a year or so to learn how to paint and do body work. I don't have a booth, but if you know what your doing a garage paint job can look really good. It is all in the prep and how you shoot.

I bought pre-mixed auto paint. You can order it to be spray in a gun or have it put into a spray can. So it is the same paint just different delivery. That bumper took 2 cans of base and 2 cans of Clear. It came out alot cheaper and easier to do the can than the spray gun. witht he gun you gotta buy reducers and activators, etc... Then there is the clean up.

I was actually shocked how well it came out.
