I dunno. It will never be a 9 or 10 sec ride. I just like driving it and wrenching on it.

You've got the hardware to go 10's all day Corey.

Also, all that nice matching black/silver/stainless then there's that one blue fitting on the meth line sticking out like a sore ****.... You're slipping bro.

Yeah that blue fitting will get replaced with black. That was just what i had laying around.

I have been really thinking about regearing. I am thinking 3.73s this time.

Don't fear the gear lol. With everyone talking about loading the turbo, people seem for have forgotten that gearing helps regardless of your power adder.

Yeah i like parts of the 3.42s and parts of my old 4.10s. There are also things i hate about the 3.42s and 4.10s so i am guessing 3.73s would best of both.

Exactly.

Unless you're trying to trap 150 mph... If you're fast enough to run out of gear, THEN you need a higher gear ratio. Otherwise, lower gears = more torque multiplication = quicker ET.

One thing i have notice with 3.42s vs 4.10s is that the 3.42s don load the turbo better like everyone says. The 4.10s seemed actually load the turbo alot better especially in 4 th with the TC locked.

Yeah, energy delivered to the turbine is a function of cylinder air mass and RPM. Some people forget about RPM, I guess.

Loading a turbo via gearing is just about slowing down engine air consumption to get into the right part of the compressor map. Choosing high rear gear ratios to 'load' a turbo is just a bandaid for having a ton of turbine and not enough compressor. Otherwise, the engine would draw air mass too quickly and end up skating along the bottom of the compressor map and eventually dropping boost. Basically the same reason a turbo that's capable of 900hp on a small engine only makes 600 on a big engine.
