Try 25psi. My turbo sounds like a 737

Same with my truck. With open exhaust, the turbo whistle is loud as hell. Then when the magma flow goes on, it is dead quiet. Doesn't whistle at all. I tried removing the silencer ring on the turbo but wouldn't figure out how haha

Also the ZR1/CTSV iridium plugs are still doing well at 10psi gapped at 0.035. These plugs are the reason i am taking my time upping the boost to see how they perform. So far so good no boost cutout and no KR. 12-14psi will be a good test.

Congrats Corey! Must be great to be back on the road with your truck running smoothly... I wouldn't know of course.

What type of cover do you have on that turbo?

My 475 is full blown 747 once pressure goes positive.

Just wanted to let you know I pulled the compressor housing off my turbo today and removed the inlet bell. Now it sounds like a 737 as Atomic described. I'd highly recommend it.

Please explain? Got any pics? Is it just for sound or is it for performance as well?
