BlackGMC build take 2 - Turbo Time
#892
1. to eleminate 2/3s of the fittings i had.
2. to move the lines to the drivers side away from all of the exhaust, also alot shorter.
3. the fpr itself was getting to 150-170* after a 30min cruise. I did not like it getting that hot. Where it is at now, it gets to 120

I made 2 small changes to my exhaust the other day that really helped.
First was fixing the leak on the drivers side exhaust manifold flange. I have been using high temp rtv but it always blows out in a few days/weeks. So i bought a remflex gasket. So far it is holding. That gasket is crushable so it seals pretty damn good.
Here is a link to it.
CHEVROLET/GM/CHEVY Header/Exhaust Manifold Gasket
The second change was redoing my tailpipe. My previous pipe had alot of small radius 90*s. I bought some larger radius bends and made a new pipe.
Those 2 changes made the exhaust alot louder but the truck runs sooo much better.
Pics of the new pipe. It is all 3.5.
