Want to say it was only 10 lbs or so saved. That piece weight a lot less then it looks, was disappointed.

Your frame looks slick all painted up like that.

Got all the cutting done for the front coil over conversion, cut the front crossmember out, and cut those annoying things off the bolt in crossmember that goes under the motor. I must say, I'm sick of cutting and grinding on this thing. What a pain in the ***. Those original spring bucket where no joke. I didn't weigh everything, but figure about 50lbs. Once I get the rear lower a arm brackets braced back up, get the upper shock mounts on, and weld in the new crossmember.......I'm gonna do a little more cutting on the very front of the frame. That should be the end of the chassis mods for now. Here are some pics.

If I would have caught this thread earlier. I would have told you to bring it to Victoria and I would stub the front end ( right in front of the k member)with chrome molly. Kind of like they do to X275 cars. I've wanted to build me a late model truck. It seems there's no real direction were is going.....Big or little tires, twins or single turbo, tube or stock suspension.
