Nice!
Its only taken me a week of graveyard shifts to read this entire 4 1/2 yr project thread but was well worth it. The best one Ive read thus far. Wish I had ran into you last year while I was working hard and heavy on my truck! Great build man. We are practically neighbors. Surprised I have not ran into you around here or at the track!?! Keep it up. Keep the info flowing and good luck man! Sudscribed!
If you ever need a hand Im 10 min from ya.

Thanks man!
Making sure the truck looks sharp is getting the best of me lol, slowing it down for the time being.
Hope to get her ready for the Truck TX2k15 thing in H-Town.
Looking good, love all the added steps your taking to save weight. If I get bored in the off season that is what ill be doing to! Every little bit counts!

I got a chance to mess with it tonight. I've been busy with other projects. I just finished a complete rm125 motor for a guy, and am in the final stretch of a 100% complete custom rm 250 build for another guy. I do a lot of motorcycle work on the side.
I'm still waiting for my shocks to show up. I can't really do much till I get those.

With the 2-strokes making a come back, I'm finding that I do a lot of complete engine builds as most can work on their own bike. New crank rod piston bearings and replace parts in the transmission that might be worn past spec.
A shameless plug I know, but I'll do work on anything with 2 wheels. lol
The rm 250 that I am doing now is 100% insane. The guy is gonna have about 8000$ in it not including any labor to me. I basically built the motor from scratch starting with a brand new set of cases. Everything is either powder coated or anodized, 265 cc big bore kit, full factory connection suspension.....the works.
Here is a pic of the motor all buttoned up:

Gotta love them oil burners. I did a banshee build a few years ago that was a 4 mil stroker with Passion 12-port drag port cylinders. It was something like 80 horsepower.......carbon fiber wheels and all. I'll see if I can find a pic of that thing. It was awesome.
I'm always on the look out for vintage (pre 1980) dirt bikes or motorcycles. I can usually make a buck or two on those.
