Things I still need to fab in the front are front suspension limiters, two new brake line brackets and I'm putting engine limiters on both sides. It appears that the motor was twisting pretty bad in the chassis. The limiter was on the passenger side. When it would launch the driver side of the motor was going backwards wreaking havoc on my alternator belt situation. Imagine that, I've got a belt driven blower, never once hurt a belt and have been through 4 alternator belts lol.

In an effort to get back going sooner rather than later, I've decided to not mess with cutting off the front frame rails ahead of the motor. That will just have to wait. Probably no 3800lb race weight for me this year. Boo!

those control arms, how much weight did you drop going to those?

where did you get the layout pattern for the motor plates?

The lower arms are 15 lbs lighter than the stock ones.
The uppers are less than a pound lighter than the stock ones.
I'm told they will give more caster adjustment which is what I need.

Motor plate was done by Madman.

Truck is back resting solidly on its own 4 feet again. It think it all turned out pretty good, but there is quite a bit of money in this whole front set up. Here are some more pics:
