Thanks, planning on picking it up tomorrow.

I'm gonna try to get it all taken back apart and the painting done this weekend.

By my calculations there should be good pics of this truck up already. Stance is the #1 thing we should have seen already!

The pics of it finished in the shop are hard to see the final stance. (Atleast the ones he posted) I was hoping to have a few good pics out in the sun of the truck.

The final "stance" as you call it will be the last thing you see. As the truck sits right now, its missing at least 300lbs worth of stuff under the hood, the fuel system, wiring, etc. The truck as it sits is about 2-3 inches high, not to mention final ride height won't be set until it fully assembled and scaled.

Also, a few of you have been asking about me selling some of the stuff that came off the truck. I'm about to start a new ad in the classifieds so keep your eye out. Parts for sale will include the QA1's, flip kit, rear window (sliding glass), misc engine acc. and brackets, trans cooler, 3 gauge pillar pod, a/c and heating system, power rack, brake booster, 4l80e crossmember (conversion), leaf springs........................................... .......

Played around with the truck tonight. My wife walked out in the garage and goes "why are you cussing so much?", lol, anyone ever removed the complete dash in one of these trucks? I've got it ready to come back out, I just need to remove the steering wheel, then I can attempt to tackle the under dash wiring project.

I need to figure out where I'm gonna mount the gauges. A-pillar is out of the question cause of the cage unless I mount them directly to the bar. Not sure if I would like that though. Any other ideas? I really need the WB in a spot where I can see it easily.

I had a for sale ad with a bunch of the left over parts. All the cool **** is sold, so the rest will just get thrown away unless someone wants to come get it. The only thing I'm keeping for sale is the rear sliding glass if anyone is interested.

Also, I'm looking for a good 6.0 block and crank. I'd trade the rear sliding glass for one heads up.

I use a three guage pod that goes right above the rear view mirror. It's pretty easy to look at it and keep an eye on things. Bought it from 1slowz71 a few year ago.

with your truck now. look into cage/bar pods. they are pods where gauges mount to the cross over head bar or down the A pillar bar. they use a wing nut or allen screw. pretty neat for a race vehicle
