Blown06-New Build: Cage, 4-Link, Cog Drive, + Too Much More

It's not gonna happen any time soon. There is no doubt in my mind I can make the procharger thing work. How many passes where made with any turbo truck before it ran 8's? It took 35 passes to run 8's procharged.
I won't need to do the turbo thing to stay on that list.
I really had the thing goofed up last year and it still ran good. There were a lot of things that where happening that should not have been happening. It'll run 8.50's consistantly with a janky motor. If I could get another job like I had a couple years ago and money was like water........peoples heads would roll.

Now what are you gonna do about the crank flexing and wiping thrust out? Are you gonna build a motor that has center weight cranks with crank support so flexing is kept to minimal?
A blower setup as you know isnt same beast as a turbo motor...you need twice or three times the internals on a big blower setup then would turbo
Blowers are fun to play with but not for everyone to go out racing with.....how long before you go crank driven procharger?
There's a jeep srt8 with a crank driven in the radial series

I'm on the fence regarding the gear drive. I personally like the belt. My opinion is that belt driven stuff is more reliable when spinning the **** out of these things. Just my opinion.
The next set up will have an f3 transmission housing and brackets though I'll say that. Whether I run the -121 or x-12a will depend on how big the next motor is.
When work picks back up to where it was, the plan is to do a -5 all pro headed deal on a dart tall deck somewhere around 460". If I can get that motor built, I'll do the f3-121. On methanol I don't think 2000+ horsepower would be an issue.

I weighed what was left of the stock frame horns and they were 45 lbs.
I weighed the fabricated piece you see above and it came in at 10 lbs.
So total weight savings is another 35+lbs.........in front of the front axle center line. HUGE!
