It is a fantastic transmission for sure. It has done everything I've asked it to since day one without ever missing a beat and Carl Rossler tells me I'm not even straining it. If it doesn't sell at that price I'm going to keep it for Blown06 Version 2.d1scstreettruckrecordholder....................h ahahahalollol
It would be nice to get it gone though. The new TH210-XHD was 8 grand.

For some fun discussion here, I'm about to post this thread over on the bullet to see if anyone can make sense of it. Weird deal got my head spinning.
I’d like to maybe revisit this issue. Not necessarily looking for a solution, because it runs just fine, but because it is strange and I can’t find another case like it. Thought it could make for a good technical discussion.
Before I took the motor apart I started noticing at the race track a slight rubbing on the crank wheel. Almost like it was rubbing the sensor. We never took the sensor off to see, and assumed that since it never missed a beat it had to be something else like maybe debris from the alternator belt or something. As you can see in the pics below it is only on a couple of spots.
The sensor is mounted via a bracket from Kurt Urban and is very steady. It does not flex. The wheel attaches to the back of the balancer via 3 of the crank cog bolts. It is very steady as well and does not move. Spacing was set according to Holley’s instructions at .040” of clearance.
As you can see from the pic of the sensor below, the sensor was actually touching down and slightly rubbing the wheel. No gouges, just rubbed enough to remove the red anodizing.
I’m pretty sure that we have all agreed that the crankshaft is flexing in this thing to some degree. But wouldn’t make sense to say that if it was flexing enough to cover .040” of distance this far out on the end of the crank that the damn thing not only would have broken in half, it would have also been showing some other issues as well? I’ve attached pics of the main bearing at the end of the post.
Something else I noticed tonight that I though was weird. At some point, either my engine builder or myself, drew an indexing line on the back of the balancer to make sure the trigger wheel went back on phased correctly. This can’t be a coincidence but look at the line. It perfectly matches up on the hub and the outer shell, but the silver piece in the middle (the dampner???) looks as if it has moved a bit. Can anyone make sense of that? Here is the pic of the balancer:
…here are pics of the crank wheel at each magnet.
…and a pic of the hall sensor:
…two picks of the sensor bracket:
…pics of the mains:
This is the front main
This thing just has me baffled.

Check the runout on the crank trigger wheel and the silver section of the damper is suspended on elastomeric rings without any mechanical fasteners so it is possible it spun.
