I picked the new rearend up a Madman's today. It is insane to say the least. I told him I wanted a 9". I guess he assumed since we didn't really discuss pricing options, he just bought the best of everything. $6k later, this thing looks like it belongs in a race car. pics later.

 

6K for a 9'' ?? wow man thats a little bit of a price gouge. I would have walked, bs. I have a BEAST of a 9'' in the car, have about 1800 in it. 33 spline, nodular front, the best for the pumkin. maybe his name is living up to it. i can't imagine how much you have in this truck after seeing the price of the rear.

It is far from a regular nodular 9" with 33 spline axles. Which I'm sure works fine. I'll never have to worry about this thing breaking, even if I decide to step it up in the future. Thats kindof the point, I'm tired of spending money more than once. I have officially gotten rid of that habbit. Thing is ****.

I've lost track of the money, its a bunch for sure. I don't mind the money except I haven't been able to use it. Thats what is pissing me off.

Im with them. I need to see what a 6k rear end/axles ect looks like.

 

I have $2K in my 14 bolt but that's not really saying much.

 

I'm leaving in couple days for Cruisin the Coast (Mississippi). Wont be back until Sunday night. So it'll be next weekend before I can snap any pics.
