Little update

Took the radiator back to madman today so that he could put a remote mount meziere pump on it. The blower belt is just too close to block mounted pump and would rub it when running. I could have gone with a smaller crank cog but that would have been nightmare getting the blower cog right to get blower rpm back up and finding a cog belt that would fit. This will be the 3rd water pump on this thing and I haven't even got it off the jackstands yet. lol! I will be selling the pump thats on it if anyone wants it. It is the 35gph race pump from meziere anodized black. It has about 5 minutes of run time on it. The fittings are -16an. PM me if your interested.

I'm supposed to go get the rad back from madman on thursday or friday, and plan on having the truck ready to go back to him for final square/scale by sunday.

I still need to buy some safety gear (helmet, jacket, etc). But I should be getting close to making a pass by next week.

 

You say it is a "race pump". Will it handle an occotional hour or less trip around town? I am guessing since you were going to run it. What is the price?
