Got it all loaded up in the truck. LME is busy so I'm gonna take it over to SAM tomorrow morning and throw it on their dyno. Gonna put it on their N/A and see what happens.

Good news and bad news.

Good news is that the engine ran flawlessly on the dyno with my ecu, coils, wires, sparkplugs. Dyno sheet posted below. Remember, I did this N/A. No blower.

Bad news is that it reved to 7500 without a hick up. Weird.

I dunno if I would call that bad news at all....bad sensor or wiring maybe? Story on bearing material?

I'm gonna pull the filter off tomorrow and have a look, crank has .005" end play and it makes 90+ psi oil pressure. If it had a bearing issue, it would have started screwing up today. It was likely just some trash from the first oil change, and may not have been as bad as I made it out to be. This is the first time I've ever had a cleanable filter and I've never cut one open to look, so I really had no idea what to base the amount of material on. I think I was just paranoid with the other issues I had/have going on. If the filter is clean tomorrow, then I'll know what is normal for a first oil change on a new engine.

Seeing bronze in the filter is not normal for a first time oil change. A little bit of shiny metallic metal is normal but not bronze bearing material. Good to see that it ran good on the dyno though

I'm probably just gonna buy another holley harness to eliminate that, and put it all back in the truck. After originally wiring the truck up, I had some ideas on how I'd like to redo somethings to make it a little cleaner. Now seems like the best time to make those changes anyway.

Then I'll run it N/A (without the belt on it). If it's fine N/A, I've got more pulleys to slow the blower down even more. So I'll likely start a little slower than I had originally planned. This thing made peak power at 7000 rpm N/A, and the addition of boost will likely raise this figure even further. I would have never guessed that peak power N/A would have been as high as 7000 rpm. Because of this, my original blower ratio is a little more aggressive than I like to start out with, plus this F2 makes crazy boost crazy fast.

Seeing as how it made 590 hp N/A, I think it's gonna be an animal with boost when everything is working properly.

Like I said, I'm hoping I was just paranoid cause I was having other issues and exaggerated what I was seeing. I wish I took a pic of what I saw, or saved it. If it's chewing up the bearings, it won't just magically stop. So I'll know more tomorrow after pulling the filter off again. But based on how it ran today, I am going to doubt there is an issue.

So you had their harness with your Ecu, coils, etc?

So it's either your harness or its blowing spark out or something like that?
