Just some progress pics I decided to mount the vacuum block to the ground for the hood

I have the 862 casting and i already dumped $250 in getting the heads reworked when i found out that i couldnt use the better LS9 gaskets. So i decided to have them welded. If you look closely you can see where the filled in the dip. I've figure i would give it a try.

The nicer Ls9 gaskets...

What size radiator do you have? If you have the smaller one and go with the ls1 fans, you might regret it later. I would upgrade to the 34" radiator and factory fans.

Anybody could please just look under your head and take a pic? I then can show the dealership or part store and they should be able to tell me what it is.

Thanks

The pig tail you show in the video looks like the pig tail for the Coolant temp sensor that is screwed into the head just behind the power steering pump.

The bracket in the Video from the pump bolts directly to the Block and underneath that is a Ground wire that bolts to the block.

Thanks I'll stop by the parts store and see if that's what I need. I hope so I've been looking for ever. Thanks once again!
