the spacers are for DOD engines because they have a taller valley cover ( i have an LS6 cover, which also sticks up higher....thats why i got the spacers). and as BC mentioned, magnacharger has a countersunk cover for the GMT800 trucks. little bit of massaging...but still super bitchin product!!

bill and i should both be up and running by next weekend!

FYI, the TVS FIFD uses the same manifold architecture that I used on my truck.....all that was required was the valley cover.

What's the deal with the valley cover? Got any pics? I was thinking of switching to the LS6 cover when I do mine. Is it a matter of countersinking the bolts, and using the spacers, or is a whole new cover needed?

Rick at Synergy Motorsports made that from 2 pieces, welded and polished. I think I have a home for it already

So it sounds like you were able to do the job then without the spacers. That sounds good to me. I didn't think that sounded very Magnacharger like to require using spacers.

Its not that they are Magna Charger Like.......We only use them on the new DOD engines with the tall valley cover.......That is few and far between.

Cool, you get what I mean though. Everything Magnacharger does is top notch and factory like. They are the closest thing to a true bolt on type company for any part of that magnitude.
