This is only a temporary fix. My tires were so dry rotted that one of them literally split when I pushed on it with just my finger. I needed to be able to drive it, but since I am taking over the family business, funds are tight this week. I decided to buy me a week or two of time by putting the tires off my brown truck over on the burb. I had to trim the rear of the front fender out just like the brown truck and take a little off the front bumper. This front bumper is going on the brown truck anyway so it was going to have the trimming done to it down the road.
It rides and drives like crap now, and it isn't setup for such big tires. I think it looks pretty cool for the time being.
Big Brown is looking kinda small on humiliated right now.

This is a bumper I have had stashed away for quite awhile now. It was a plain painted bumper with a bunch of red over spray. I scuffed it down, cleaned it, and then shot it with a pretty thick coat of bedliner. I let that setup for a bit, then I sprayed with trim paint. I really like the texture that it leaves, and the trim paint also keeps it looking nicer much longer then the bedliner would by itself.
As soon as I find a painted front bumper, I will be doing the same to it as well.
The front and rear bumper on the suburban will be donated over to the brown truck.
Washed the princess

OK, since I am taking over the business this Suburban is not only going to be my work truck, it is also going to be a rolling advertisement.
The plan is now to lower it, go with some chrome 20's possibly and make it flashy
I like the way this one is sitting, but I think the fender flares on mine will make the wheels look too small. I have half a mind to take it in and have the fender flares removed and have the holes filled and repainted.

No, no scales to weigh something like that. My bathroom scale is GLASS.
They feel about the same as the stock 16's, which is about half of what the wheels and tires weighed that I took off.
