Might have something on the line here, just have to see how it turns out. A customer of mine has a 01 Yukon XL 2500 4x4 complete. 6.0L 4L80E. Not sure if it runs yet, will look into it tomorrow and see where things lead from there.

Today I took off work to spend with some visiting family. After they left, I went to a salvage yard and went parts diving. I found the drivers side battery tray, and the 98-99 cruise control cable I needed. I pulled them, so they let me have them for free.

I found a power steering cooler on a truck, but I didn't have the tools I needed to remove it, so I am going to call them tomorrow and ask nicely for them to pull it.

Went to a swap meet this week and picked up the fuse panel and relay sockets I need to make my wiring harness. I will start working on that this week.

I picked up a power steering cooler last week, and found the all the parts I need to convert to hydroboost on a 94 suburban 2500.

Got some parts today. Deep trans pan, exhaust gasket, motor mount adapters, and the fuel pump.

Decided on these motor mounts because they came with all the hardware I needed, and no extra stuff I didn't need.

I put one of those pans on my Tahoe, dropped the trans temp about 20 degrees during the warms months, we'll see what it'll do during the AZ summer.

I hope so, every little bit will help when I pull a trailer.

If your wondering why I am choosing this route, I can only find 2 systems for a 94 suburban. Dynomax and the Diamond eye. I currently have the dynomax and don't care for it, and the diamond eye 4 inch will kill me behind the 5.3L. The dynomax intermediate pipe looks fine, it is the tailpipe I hate. The pictures of the diamond eye tail pipe looks great, so this gives me the best of both worlds, and I don't have to deal with any local shops demanding me to put cat's on it, or they won't work on it.
